AudioHQ & Triton Align To Scale Digital Audio Advertising In The United States

Laurence Fishburne’s Cinema Gypsy Productions and Larenz Tate’s TateMen Entertainment team to produce AudioHQ’s First Scripted Audio Series “Policy Kings” to be written by Academy Award® nominee Josh Olson

Cinema Gypsy Productions and TateMen Entertainment have teamed up to produce the scripted audio series called POLICY KINGS. They have partnered with AudioHQ, an ad platform that connects brands with digital audio advertising inventory and creates integration opportunities across premium publishing partners. After the success of podcasts like SERIAL, AudioHQ has ventured to find compelling and unique audio content, and POLICY KINGS was chosen to be their first production.
 
POLICY KINGS, originally conceived by TateMen Entertainment, is a 10 episode audio drama written by Academy Award® nominee, Josh Olson (A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE). The series chronicles the lives of the players in Chicago’s “policy” numbers games of the 1940s and illuminates the self-sustaining African-American community of Bronzeville.  The project will air on a platform to be determined in the fall of 2016. Kc Wayland’s Wayland Productions will be handling physical production of the series.
 
Cinema Gypsy Productions is a motion picture and television production company founded in 2000 by award-winning actor, producer, writer and director and current President, Laurence Fishburne.
